Feedback Recap!

Hello Friends!

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me a little feedback.  I was very encouraged and uplifted.  I never thought I would embark on a blog, until my sister introduced me.  I've learned so much in the last few years.

I've taken some things you said into consideration. I'm keeping the entry form for giveaways because I like to keep your info private and it's easier for me to count comments.  Also, I redid my blog so that things are easier to find (labels, search bar, current giveaways, sign up for email & FB).

I love and welcome your comments from time to time.  You might see that I won't be blogging as much since I'm getting ready for baby #2 coming in early May.  I'm trying to create a balance in my life!

Anyway, I appreciate the 10 people who took the time to fill out my feedback form!

Blessings, Shonda

Indivisible by Kristen Heitzmann Book Review/Giveaway

Indivisible by Kristen Heitzmann is another edge of the seat thriller.  Jonah Westfall is the chief of police in a small town an dis battling staying sober, yearning for a lost love and trying to figure out who is mutilating animals.  Tia Manning owns the Half Moon Candle shop and avoids Jonah Westfall who betrayed her nine years ago.  As things heat up with the investigation, many dark secrets are uncovered and a few colorful characters emerge.  Tension mounts when Tia's best friend is abducted throwing Jonah and Tia together to discover a very twisted mind behind the mysterious animal debasements.

I am just amazed at the intricate way Kristen weaves her stories.  I immediately feel like I know the characters, but there is some mystery about them.  Many things are hidden, but come to full resolution at the end.  This story had just enough intrigue to keep me reading late into the night.  If you want a suspenseful and interesting story, read Indivisible: A Novel by Kristen Heitzmann today.

*This book was provided to me free of charge by Blogging for Books  for purpose of this review. This is my honest opinion of this book and no monetary compensation was received for my opinion.*

Please take a moment to rate my review.  Thanks!

52 Weeks of Organizing with The Organizing Junkie #9

Theme: What is your good enough?

Shelf redo project:
Before- Usana stuff/ moved to another location

Remember this mess!  Teaching stuff...

After- Teaching shelf (will be a work in progress)

Questions to ponder this week:
1.  Do you know what your “good enough” is?
I know what I want my home to look like and I'm taking one step at a time.  Good enough for me is keeping the kitchen clean, making meals and cleaning one area about 15 min a day.  I wish I could do a whole lot more, but I just can't right now.  I'm a mom with a 2 year old and pregnant.  I do what I can and that's good enough!

2.  What did you organize this week?
This week I moved all my teaching stuff from behind the living room couch and put everything upstairs on a shelf all neat and organized.  I love it!

3.  Are there areas you are struggling with in this challenge?
I'm only one week behind in my 52 tasks.    I do need to make the commitment for 15 minutes of daily work on the one area for the week.  That's what I will work on this week.

I'm hooked up with Laura, The Organizing Junkie!

Women in the Word Wednesday- James 2

I'm still catching up, so here's my revelations from James 2: (So many rich nuggets!)
*Since I'm a believer, I must NOT show favoritism.
*I need to treat people with love and acceptance no matter what.  All are equal in God's eyes.
*All of my actions toward others should be merciful for God has given that to me.
*Action and FAITH go together.
*What can I do today to demonstrate faith in action?  (This is a question to ask everyday.)
*I know that works do not save me, but strengthen my faith.
*God is not only interested in my faith, but how I live it out.

This study of James is so REAL and applicable to my everyday life.  I love how the S.O.A.P. method is bringing out some solid truths.

Blessings, Shonda
