Recipe of the Week: Pistachio Pudding Salad

*12 oz Cool Whip
*20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
*1 cup sour cream
*2 cups marshmallows
*small package pistachio instant pudding

Mix all ingredients.  Sprinkle some marshmallows on top.  Refrigerate until ready to serve. 
Great no baking recipe to do with kids!

Isn't it great! I've been making it for years, but here in the South we call it Watergate Salad. It's also in the cookbooks under that name. Wonder why it's called that? Thanks for reminding me about it...I haven't made it in awhile.:-)

I make this without the sour cream. I put in pineapple, the instant pudding, a cup of marshmellows, and the cook whip, mixing after each is added. Yes and we call it Watergate Salad, I don't know why unless that it is green and a joke kids make is about green food is that it is poison and will kill you.
